Janice Brown is a champion for the rights and care of special needs individuals who have: mental retardation, autism, and mental illness.

She is also known as an caring advocate for the elderly and instrumental in helping those with issues of grief and loss.

For her efforts, Janice Brown has been recognized by Mayor Nutter, Governor Rendell, and Senator Mendes of NJ.
