SUZANNE GAROFALO
2019 Golden Heart Award Winner
Suzanne Garofalo is the Community Relations Manager for the Classroom Project. She creates and assists with promoting programs and activities that foster a favorable representation of our non-profit. Their mission is to improve the quality of early childhood environments by advocating for and boosting the morale of early childhood professionals. As a former early childhood educator, Suzanne understands the struggle to provide adequate materials to successfully run a classroom. Many teachers use their own money to purchase items to enrich their programs because centers fail to contribute what teachers require. The Classroom Project's programs and activities are fun and many are family friendly. They also offer educational services for teachers. It brings Suzanne a great level of satisfaction to be able to give back and bring the community together for a such a worthy non-profit organization.
