Dennis worked for the Philadelphia School District for 35 years as a School Counselor at Alternative Middle Years (A.M.Y.) at James Martin Middle School. It was a job that he loved because he had the opportunity to help so many students with their social, emotional and educational needs. He also worked for many summers as a program coordinator of the Summer Career Exploration Program, which trained college students to mentor inner city high school students who were placed in the summer job program. Dennis is now working part-time for Progressions Behavioral Health as a Mobile Therapist and a Group Mobile Therapist On January 7th 2016, he donated a kidney to his sister-in-law who suffered from polycystic kidney disease. Dennis is grateful for having many opportunities to make a difference in peoples’ lives. Dennis, and his wife Jill, have 3 adult children. |
