JEFF GLYNN
2014 Golden Heart Award Winner
Jeff Glynn has had a long career as a volunteer fireman including serving as Chief of the Roslyn Fire Company. For over a decade, Mr. Glynn has been the lead instructor for volunteer firemen. In fact, he has trained so many throughout Montgomery and Bucks Counties that one fireman said, “Every time I or somebody who he trained saves a life, makes a rescue or puts out a fire, Jeff should get the credit or an assist (in hockey terms).”
Mr. Glynn is a humble man who works behind the scenes so others may shine. He will go the extra mile to be a friend, come to class early or stay late to tutor a student, giving of his own time so others may benefit. He does it believes in his community and his fellow man.
Jeff Glynn is currently Abington Township Assistant Fire Marshall and Community Service Specialist. He continues to make us safer by teaching CPR, first aid and fire prevention to the public.
