Gary Schoenberg has 45 years’ experience working in the mental health field. Gary brings his clinical, administrative, and creative talents to his work with a background as a psychologist and a psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner. He has been employed at COMHAR, a community mental health center in the Kensington area of Philadelphia for 41 years in various roles as a Division Director and currently the Director of Development and Communications. One of Gary’s goals is to form collaborations between various partnering organizations to support individuals with mental health, substance use disorders, and intellectual disabilities. He has been an active member of Pebble Hill Church in Doylestown, PA for over 30 years where he served as the President of the Church Council for 3 years. He is a trustee on the board of the Philadelphia Mankind Project, a nonprofit training and education organization with three decades of proven success hosting life-changing experiential personal development programs for men in leading lives of integrity, authenticity, and service.
