Tracy B. Roman, Esq. is a graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. She received her law degree in May, 1990 from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, DE.
She has been in private practice since 1993. She handles litigation involving statutory interpretation and criminal defense cases, family law cases, civil arbitrations, waiver trials, jury trials, depositions, and appellate cases. She serves as a Court of Common Pleas Felony Criminal Appointment Attorney for the City of Philadelphia and is licensed to practice law in PA and NJ.
Ms. Roman has litigated medical malpractice cases and worked on large volume worker’s compensation court appearances, depositions, and brief writing.
Bringing her expertise to a wider audience, Ms. Brandeis-Roman hosted the weekly one-hour “Talking Law” show on WDAS-AM and MEGA 900, responding to callers’ questions on a wide array of legal matters.
She participates in the “Lawyer and Doctor in the Classroom” program that pairs one lawyer and one doctor to each Philadelphia Public School classroom. Together they present their prospective on the legal and medical effect of illegal drugs. She also participates in Career Day programs in the schools.
A believer in community service, Ms. Roman was elected Judge of Elections for the 8th Ward 4th Division where she reside in Center City, Philadelphia. She is responsible for opening, managing and closing polling place each Election Day. She is also a newly appointed Board Member of community radio, WPEB, 88.1, FM. |
