Dr. John Heim is board certified in general and thoracic surgery. Dr. Heim graduated from the NJ Medical School in 1985. His residency and post-graduate training was completed at the University of Connecticut-Hartford Hospital. He served as a fellow in thoracic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He also completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rush Medical College, in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Heim has been in practice for 20 years and has sharpened his medical expertise at Our Lady Of Lourdes Medical Center, Frankford Hospital, Cooper University Hospital, Virtua West Jersey Hospital - Marlton. He is now the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University Medical Center at Princeton where he also practices thoracic surgery.

Dr. Heim is not only a top Doc but is also commited to global health issues and volunteerism. He has donated his time and surgical expertise since 2003 on many international surgical mission trips to such places as Paraguay, Russia and Haiti.
Dr. Heim’s professional life and volunteerism are supported by his wife of 30 years, Lori. Lori and Jack have four adult children of whom they are very proud. |
