Mr. Michael J. Ennis has been working in the Social Service / Mental Health Field for over 28 years, first starting with his appointment (1995-2001) to the Bucks County Youth and Social Services Advisory Board, in which Michael sought to help develop and oversea programs that would be beneficial to the youth of Bucks County and those that were in our Juvenile Detention program.

Michael would go on to work for St.Francis/St.Josephs Home for Boys as the Mental Health Counselor/Intake Coordinator for two group homes. Mr. Ennis went on to provide Ethical counseling in the special education field counseling youth and adults from grade school to adulthood. Mr. Ennis also provides crisis counseling and management, conflict resolution, mediation and patient healthcare and advocacy..Mr. Ennis also has been involved as a CYO youth League Basketball Coach age 12-18 for 26 years.

Mr.Ennis said his inspiration and love for this work came from his father, Robert F. Ennis, who told him there was nothing that he could not achieve and showed him that everyone has value. Michael's Father never went a day without taking time to stop and help or check in on someone in the neighborhood..

It was this inspiration that Michael's Father showed him that stirred in Michael's heart to give back to work in this field as Michael says, “I did not choose the field, the field chose me.”

Michael comes to us today with A Masters of Divinity Degree, from LaSalle University, a BA in Humanities and Minor in Religious Studies from Holy Family University, Graduate Studies in Philosophy and Exegesis Scriptural Studies from Washington Theological Union in Washington DC., Graduate Theological Studies from Mount St.Mary's Seminary, Certified BHT, Certified BACB RBT, Certified Mediator, Patient Advocate, and Life Coach, and Member of the American Psychological Association.
