Laura Butterwick MD was born in Philadelphia and raised in the suburbs with her twin sister Pam. She graduated from Wissahickon High School in 1987 and received her BS in Biology/Premed from Elizabethtown College in 1991. She went on to get her MD from Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1995. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in 1998 and was selected to do an extra year as a Chief Resident from 1998-1999.
Dr. Butterwick’s first job was with a large internal medicine practice in Huntingdon Valley where she practiced as a primary care doctor for 13-1/2 years. She always had an interest in alternative forms of healing and has used her strong intuition to help diagnosis and treat patients. |
