ROBIN ACKERMAN

Robin Ackerman is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I knew since a young age that I wanted to help others, so I became a social worker to empower people to make positive changes and improve their lives.

For over 25 years, I have been working with children who have behavioral and mental health issues while helping their families get the services they need. During the last 10 years, I have supervised clinicians and other professionals who provide services to these children and families. As a supervisor, I enjoy passing along my knowledge and experience while seeing these mental health professionals grow and flourish. It has been a very challenging yet rewarding pursuit.

On a personal note, I have raised two amazing children and enjoy spending my time outdoors – hiking, biking, gardening and feeling grateful as the sun hits my face.
