| Will Fox III demonstrated his composure and ability to cope with an emergency at the age of five. In December, 2009, he was awakened at night by his mother, Judi, who was experiencing a medical emergency requiring immediate assistance. He called 911, calmly telling the dispatcher of the emergency at his house. Will gave the dispatcher his father's cell phone number to attempt contacting him at his office. Will was not tall enough to unlock the front door for the EMTs but found an alternative - the back patio door. He put on his winter coat and waited for their arrival and the return of his father, Jon Fox. Will Fox III receives the Golden Heart Award for his determination, quick thinking and calmness in an emergency. He is the youngest person to ever receive this honor. |  |
